About FinAegis

What is FinAegis?

FinAegis Ltd is an offshore management company in Mauritius, licensed by the Financial Services Commission (FSC). We provide company formation and structuring, corporate administration and compliance, fiduciary and trusteeship, accounting and tax, and related services to international clients.

Who do you work with?

We serve institutional investors, multinational corporations, high net worth individuals, family businesses, brokers, investment advisors, fund managers and start-ups seeking a reliable, well regulated presence in Mauritius.

Is FinAegis regulated?

Yes. We operate within Mauritius's regulated framework, under the supervision of the Financial Services Commission, and apply the due-diligence and compliance standards expected of a licensed management company.

Services & Structures

What types of structures can you set up?

We form and administer Global Business Companies, Authorised Companies, Trusts, Foundations and Limited Partnerships, together with registered office and registered agent facilities. We advise on the structure best suited to your objectives.

Can you take over an existing company?

Yes. Many clients come to us to take over the administration of an existing Mauritian structure, looking for a more responsive and capable administrator. We manage the transition end to end.

Do you handle accounting and tax?

Yes. We prepare financial statements, keep your bookkeeping, manage VAT compliance, provide tax advisory and liaise with auditors and the Mauritius Revenue Authority, aligned with Mauritian and international standards.

Mauritius as a Jurisdiction

Why incorporate in Mauritius?

Mauritius is a respected International Financial Centre: politically stable, with a hybrid legal system and final appeal to the UK Privy Council, a competitive tax regime and preferential access to Africa and Asia through COMESA, SADC and the Commonwealth.

How long does it take to incorporate a company?

A company can typically be incorporated and operational in around three days, once the required due diligence and know-your-customer checks are complete.

What is the tax environment?

A 15% headline corporate tax rate, no capital gains tax, no dividend withholding tax, no inheritance or estate duty and no foreign exchange control, supported by a network of 40+ double taxation treaties. The right structure depends on your circumstances, which our team can review with you.
